GMADS had a hit with their whirlwind tour of the world in April.
This musical adaptation of Jules Verne’s novel by Roger Brandon-Jones meant the cast played over 80 parts in trains, air balloons, on elephants and even in a circus. Pam Townsend’s skilful direction brought it all together into an enjoyable entertainment for cast and audience alike.
We were really pleased to welcome several new members on stage and behind the scenes in this our 50th anniversary year. One newcomer said:
“It has been an amazing experience, full of laughter as well as trepidation on my part, being a complete novice to acting. However, the wonderful people that make up GMADS made me feel part of the group from the outset and were so supportive through the months of rehearsals that followed.”
